Viz Media has revealed the home media release for Naruto: The Last, and have expanded theatrical run for its sequel Boruto:
October is going to be a huge month for NARUTO fans between the home video release of the seventh NARUTO SHIPPUDEN feature film, THE LAST: NARUTO THE MOVIE and the theatrical debut of the latest movie from Japan, BORUTO: NARUTO THE MOVIE!
- THE LAST: NARUTO THE MOVIE will be available at favorite retailers starting October 6th – fans can preorder the Blu-ray/DVD combo pack or the standard DVD edition now! THE LAST is the final story of Naruto as you knew him, set two years since the fateful battle between Naruto and Sasuke at the end of the manga series! A comfortable peace has fallen over the village, and Naruto and his friends have been transformed into elite young warriors… But a mysterious and dangerous man appears and warns that the end of the world is nigh!
- BORUTO: NARUTO THE MOVIE makes its subtitled theatrical bow in the U.S. and Canada on Naruto’s birthday, October 10th, and just received an expansion – it’ll now be showing in an additional 52 cities around the country! In the movie, Naruto is now Seventh Hokage of the Hidden Leaf Village! Boruto, his troublesome son, resents his father’s responsibilities that take away his time away from his son. Sasuke, now with a family of his own, takes Boruto under his wing, while his only daughter, Sarada, dreams of being Hokage one day! As the new Chunin Exams dawn though, evil is upon the horizon!
