Blindspot has added two new cast members for season two:
BURBANK, Calif. (July 23, 2016) — The mystery behind Jane Doe was alive and well at Warner Bros. Television’s Blindspot Comic-Con 2016® panel Saturday, July 23. Fans were thrilled to hear that they would not only learn Jane’s real name in the new season, but also a great deal more about her former life and Orion — before Weller and the FBI. Adding faces to the faceless organization, executive producer Martin Gero announced two new series regulars who will be appearing in the second season of the hit series, which returns Wednesday, September 14, to NBC.
- Luke Mitchell (Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., The Tomorrow People) and Michelle Hurd (The Glades, Daredevil, Hawaii Five-O) will be joining Blindspotas series regulars for season two. Mitchell plays Roman and Hurd plays another member of the shadowy organization that sent Jane to the FBI in season one.
- The casting of Mitchell and Hurd follows an earlier announcement that Emmy® winner and Golden Globe nominee Archie Panjabi (The Good Wife) was also joining season two in a major recurring role as the head of a secret division within the NSA that’s been tracking the Jane Doe case from afar.
Blindspot returns for its second season Wednesday, September 14, at 10/9c on NBC, before moving to its new regular day and time period of Wednesdays 8/7c the following week.
