Popular mobile game Bleach Brave Souls surprised fans by revealing that it would be adapting the “Thousand Year Blood War” aka the final arc of the Bleach manga series, as well as the Quincy arc in celebration of the game’s second anniversary. In a rather interesting bit of news game developer KLab stated that they were only able to receive the greenlight for the content due to the heavy support the mobile game has been receiving both in Japan as well as overseas. This will be the first time the content has appeared outside of the manga since it ended in August 2016. With the novels out, and the live-action film on the way could the anime finally see an adaptation of the final canon arcs with enough fan support? The Bleach anime originally premiered in Japan in October 2004, and ended in March 2012 with a grand total of 366 episodes.
