In some rather interesting news IGN reported early in the week that Batman: Arkham Knight would be receiving an M rating from the ESRB. This was later confirmed by the team at Rocksteady, the developers for three of the five entries in the Arkham series.

The Arkham franchise has received a T rating for every entry but the upcoming Arkham Knight title. The series has always been praise for it’s dark tone even with the T rating, so it’ll be interesting to see how Rocksteady pushes that even further with Arkham Knight. Batman: Arkham Knight releases June 2, 2015 on PC, Playstation 4, and Xbox One.
