Arc System Works has revealed that it will be appearing at Virtual Market 5 today on December 18, 2020:
Rolling Hills Estates, California – December 16th, 2020 – Dive into the Guilty Gear universe in the virtual world at “Virtual Market 5” while waiting for the launch of Guilty Gear™ -Strive-, the latest entry in the groundbreaking fighting game series from Arc System Works. Virtual Market 5 is the world’s largest virtual convention, starting on December 18th, 2020 PST.
At the virtual Arc System Works booth, guests can sample and purchase 3D avatars of Baiken, Jam Kuradoberi, Dizzy and Elphelt from Guilty Gear Xrd for JPY 10,000. Also, by taking a survey at the virtual booth; visitors will receive digital weapons for their avatar for free! There will also be a virtual photo opportunity with a Guilty Gear themed battle stage. Guests can then walk around the event site with their purchased 3D models to show their fandom in the virtual world!
The event will run 24 hours until January 9th, 2021 PST. Attendees can visit the booths in the virtual world, purchase and download digital merchandise such as avatars and tools, or even physical items. Additionally, visitors can also interact with other attendees in the virtual space. Those who want to attend the largest virtual event in the world will need to register for VR Chat and join via Steam from their PC. A VR headset is not required. https://www.vmarket.work/v5/access
