Viz has picked up the anime adaptation of One Punch Man:
VIZ Media is thrilled to announce at our just-ended VIZ Media panel at Anime Expo today the media rights acquisition of the highly anticipated ONE-PUNCH MAN anime series about the average-guy-turned-superhero who packs quite the punch!
VIZ Media will manage the master ONE-PUNCH MAN license in North America, Latin America and Oceania, encompassing home video, merchandise and TV rights – as well as stream the series in the U.S. More details on the debut date will be announced soon! VIZ Media already releases the manga it’s based on as a digital first, with Volume 1 of the print edition debuting in September!
