Viz Media has dated the Splatoon manga for the West:

Let the fun begin! Join Goggles and Team Blue in this new series that adapts Nintendo’s bestselling Splatoon^TM video games into an imaginative action-adventure manga for all ages! Volume 1 debuts exclusively in print this December 12th at bookstores and comic shops everywhere.

In SPLATOON, the Turf Wars have started in Inkopolis, and the team that inks the most ground will be crowned the winner! Goggles and Team Blue are ranked lower than their competitors. But with some teamwork and a touch of creativity, they might just leave their mark!
