According to The Wrestling Observer, current creative plans call for Batista to feud with Randy Orton over the WWE World Heavyweight Championship for WrestleMania. Creative has discussed Batista entering the 2014 Royal Rumble and winning the match. This would lead to Batista vs Orton at WrestleMania 30 for the championship. Another match discussed is Batista vs The Undertaker taking place at the event. As for his new contract it is expecting to go through WM 30 and beyond. His earnings is said to be less than Brock Lesnar, but his dates are said to be similar to that of Rob Van Dam’s, where he’ll be making TV, Live Event, and PPV appearances.
