Injustice 2’s pocket counterpart hits mobile devices today, taking place after its impressive mobile predecessor the second entry acts as an expansion/prequel to the events of the console game. In Injustice 2, players will swipe card collect their way to victory as they face different incarnations of their favorite DC heroes & villains.
Injustice 2 is an 2017 mobile fighting game, it is developed by NetherRealm Studios & published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. It is available on iPhone, iPad, and Android devices.
Featuring a story mode of its own, Injustice 2’s mobile version is an awful lot like its console big brother. There are times when it will look and feel like a true AAA mobile experience with its beautiful graphics & impressive gameplay. That’s not to say the game isn’t without limitations, the story mode being a prime example.
THE GOOD: Injustice 2 Mobile is a solid spin-off of a console game and in a lot of ways is better than the previous mobile game. It does a good job replicating the console version, including the gear system and impressive looking story mode. Core gameplay mechanics from both the original game and Injustice 2 are used in this version, which is great for players looking to get a taste before the bigger game is released.
THE BAD: Story mode will fun, feels incomplete due to chapters being released over time via update downloads. AI doesn’t feel that great competitive wise.
OVERALL THOUGHTS: Injustice 2 is one of the most impressive looking mobile games you’ll play. With a competent story, great gameplay, and good replication of the console game those waiting on the latter will enjoy themselves. The story mode being released over time & AI issues, however hold it back.
