As reported last week a deal between former WWE Star MVP and TNA was likely to have been reached, the two parties had been in talks for the past several weeks and it looks as if a deal has indeed been finalized as Dave Meltzer is reporting that the Former WWE/NJPW star will be making his debut as soon as this week on Impact.

Speaking of former stars jumping ship it looks like the dream deal between WWE & Former TNA/WCW Legend Sting has been made as well. While conflicting reports state that a deal has already been reached within the past 24 hours, others suggest that talks between Sting and WWE are still ongoing and looking stronger than the last couple of times Sting and WWE had talks about doing a run with the company. Apparently Sting deal would have him signed on as a WWE Legend, but he would still be wrestling for the company for at least a year. The long rumored Undertaker/Sting match isn’t happening this year at WrestleMania 30 as WWE have Taker facing Brock this year, and that plan has been locked for months now. The reports go on to state that their are some hold ups between the Sting/WWE talks like what Sting is willing to do with his character creatively.

In the past Sting has had issues about going to WWE because he felt the company treated former big WCW names disrespectfully creative wise. With the WWE Network coming in a mere 27 days, WWE really wants to sign Sting so they can use him to push the WCW library that will air as part of the network. Sting is viewed as one of the faces of WCW, and in the past WWE had to sue Ric Flair and DDP to push the WCW content.
