Nintendo has announced the next iteration of the 3DS, the New Nintendo 3Ds a much smaller version of the 3DS with extra functions including a bigger screen and an extra analog stick. The device will also come with new shoulder buttons near the ZL & ZR buttons. It will also feature a better CPU than previous models, and feature Amiibo support. The new devices launch on October 11, 2014.

That extra analog stick should have been there on the original 3DS, oh well hopefully they fixed the speakers.
