With a shooting start currently scheduled for September, the upcoming dark reboot of the Hellboy film franchise tentatively titled ‘Hellboy: Rise of the Blood Queen’ has currently gone through the production phase without a distributor, that may have changed as Lionsgate is currently in early talks to pick up the upcoming film, reports TheWrap. The film stars David Harbour as the titular character of the famed Mike Mignola comic series, with Neil Marshal currently signed on to direct. Mignola, Andrew Cosby, and Christopher Golden are currently writing the script.
