Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy, now famous for its “insane” difficulty will be getting even harder today, as a once abandoned level known as “Stormy Ascent” will be releasing to the remastered trilogy in a rather clever use of free DLC announced Activision & Playstation. The level will be made free of charge until August 19. Originally designed for the initial entry of Crash Bandicoot on Playstation One by Naughty Dog, the level was nixed due to how difficult it was to complete. Was this the inspiration for Vicarious Visions’ decision to make Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy as rage inducing as humanly possible? For what it’s worth, this isn’t the first time the level became available to the public, it was previously made unlockable via GameShark discs.
