Assassination Classroom is an 2015 shounen anime series, it is produced by Lerche, and licensed by Funimation. It is currently available on DVD and Blu-Ray in English.
Taking place almost immediately after season one, Assassination Classroom finds out E Class heroes losing time on their assassination of Koro-Sensei. Using any and all methods from exploding pudding to Anti-Koro traps, E Class make the best of a bad situation in a last ditch effort to rid the planet of their sensei once and for all.
THE GOOD: While a lot of season one was heavy with comedy and a good mix of action, season two is definitely a ton of action this time around. Though comedy remains, it’s taken a backseat in an effort to showcase how severe the situation for E-Class has truly gotten. A good amount of time is given to a number of students throughout part one of season two, giving a lot of freshness to the storyline.
THE BAD: Nothing in particular.
OVERALL THOUGHTS: Season two of Assassination Classroom puts it all into perspective for E-Class. With the alluring danger of Itona and Shiro, the class have to bring all the stops to end Koro-Sensei before he destroys Earth. Otaku Dome gives Assassination Classroom Season Two, Part One on Blu-Ray a 88 out of 100.
